@jalyst thanks for this guide though I only needed the command for flashing main.bin+emmc.bin as it's differs from the N900 -> N9, but still very helpfull

Opgraded from PR1.2 -> PR1.3 with a full flash and it worked like a charm

Regards Dousan...

^NP mate, but thank the other posters here, not me!
I just reformatted/posted instructions to the OP that others formulated.
Which reminds me, I haven't been following this thread/forum heavily in months.
If there's anything new anyone wants me to add to the OP, please point it out.

TY.

okay ive got pr1.3 open mode running. I understand that the reason people have to reinput everything is because a change of keys? So I want to flash the nitdroid dual boot kernel, which I understand basically the open mode and a the part to boot nitdroid. will me flashing that kernel get the device to constantly ask me to log into everything everytime i reboot?

I think this will fix most problems that would crop up.

No, that post is not intended to fix anything, as it clearly says.

Additionally, the nitdroid instructions are at best incomplete. If you only do that, things like e.g. the positioningd database stops updating so you will get cold GPS starts only (though some people may consider that a feature...).

I keep that the best option is a reflash -- qole made excellent instructions a few pages ago. You can certainly do it without reflashing -- aka apscli --, but why not use the opportunity to take backups and clean start? Less problems in the future... Also, a reflash is the _only_ way back, so by doing it now you force yourself to learn how it's done, find the proper firmware images for your variant, etc.

Ive reflashed plenty of times, it worked fine by just flashing the dual boot over the open kernel

So judging by javispedro's post, nothing substantial has come up in the last 4mth that should be added to the OP?
