Pocketables review

Pocketables/UMPCPortal/jkkmobile Specs page

Vendor's English Specs page

2.8" tablet, running Windows CE. So, tiny and running a crappy OS, but the design is very elegant and straight forward. Though, it's an ARM9, and a lot of other very low end features.

Starting price is $145ish.

I mention it not as a "people will be buying this droves!" idea, but instead, it seems like it wouldn't/shouldn't be too hard to come up with a DIY counterpart to a device like this, with something like Mer on it. It's a simple and clean design. More simple and clean than the N800.

Hmm... Windows CE... does not have a good software platform market like iPhone.

Actually this doesn't look to be that bad of a device.

Yeah, except for WinCE, it looks like quite a well put together product. I'd love to see an Android and/or Mer version of it.

Pocketables did a follow-up review, if you want to read more about it.
