Hi,

i just got my N900 (yay!) (and yes, my mic is working) but I have one thing that annoys me - it makes a 'click' sound everytime I touch the display. In the display options you can disable the vibration thingie, but the click sound stays. You could also mute the complete device, but that's not really the same. How can I disable the click-sound?

It's in the Settings > Profiles > Touch screen sounds. In other words the bottom setting in the profiles submenu/window. Hope that helps.

You have to be quick to spot that disappearing scrollbar.

You are going to find many more hidden bonuses. Try double clicking on text messages in chat to see time, when the were delivered and posted.
Interfase is sometimes non intuiteve, but if you know the trick you would like it.

I've done that and I'm still getting the click sound... Is anyone else running into this problem?

Get a terminal prompt.
Type the following:
Code:
killall maemo-xinput-sounds
Tell me if that fixes it! (I think this might be a bug)

Uh oh. I was hoping you'd say it didn't.

That means someone (...ugh I know, I know...) should file a bug about this...
