i just want to say that watching Youtube videos in the N900 microb browser totally blows all other phones out of the water. I have had my N900 for two and a half years now and im always amazed when i watch youtube!! Best phone ever evn though i have an N9!

Youtube on MicroB is great.
albeit the 240p resolution.

but for a phone of 2009 it's a great achievement nevertheless.

Nowadays, I love using my S3 for viewing videos. The screen is adequate and it's super fast!

Even that I like my N900, I have to admit; 240p is not enough, especially if it's in fullscreen mode (we can see the pixellation), I wish I could play at least 360p 480p, also for smoothness we need to overclock or have just microb open, if Nokia did what they told us that they would provide Flash 10 and with hw acclelerated, but anyway the PowerVR 530 is just not powerful enough for that, I know I can even play 1080p but at 4, 5 fps even overclocked to 1150 Mhz changing user agent, it's a shame, would love a true N900 sucessor with 4+ '' amoled screen, dualcore and flash 11 support etc , agree with daichan073 about sgs3, but I heard flash is not going to be updated anymore, it's even out of PlayStore already, so who has it installed is lucky, for new owners not good, JellyBean doesn't support flash, sgs2 is good too, I think even better than s3 (price), I might get a sgs2 just for the flash support, especially now after sgs3, the antecessor got a lower price !

Why not use cuteTube-QML? It can play YouTube videos over 240p.

i find the 240p resolution adequate but it looks brilliant sometimes especially on full screen! the other factor is in my country Ghana where we dont get really good 3G speeds , i can load a clip up fast..

Cutetube is brilliant though sometimes i wish it would load videos in 240p because internet data is expensive here, thats why i also like using the browser!

Of course there, the web fails hard @ playing youtube videos. even lower than 240p (yeah, it's possible!!)

BUT... you instal "youtube downloader" ---> you can watch-download video clips at 720p resolution.
And they look great. Both on the device's screen and on TV (via hdmi-out)

@ AndrewX192 I know about cutetube, actually have it installed, but use it mostly for downloads and not for streaming as my internet at the moment is 3g (in Brazil 3g is 30 kbps) the one I have, and after 10 MB it gets to 5, 6 kbps so not viable for streaming, it is TIM Brasil, it's unlimited but after 10 MB at turtles's speed !!! PS. Cutetube streams at 480 x 360 p I think.

I didn't know was possible to watch videos lower than 240p !! What is the resolution? 144p ( 176 x 144 ) That's awful. Minimum by today standars is 640 x 360 nhd or 640 x 480 vga, never had a S3 phone, maybe will get a 701 or better 808 !

yeah, just try with a N8 for example to visit youtube and watch any video.
