another question (i will try ad brick my device myself LOL)
It seems - from looking at bootloader - pssible to boot from SD card, even to restore an image from SD card.
Is this enabled in LK?

That's nice, why don't you read the entire thread before jumping to conclusions*...
I wasn't the one overacting in the discussion on Twitter (although I can understand Neil's frustrations), it's been resolved, by the way.
Oh, and a HNY to everyone & your loved ones, yeah!?!

*good luck with that on Twitter

But the idea is that if devicelock code has been set, it will be queried, and you can unlock your bootloader and drop to root shell and do what ever you like with your device. And these actions may void the warranty just like developer mode (if your brick your device on purpose then its your fault).
Do you have a description/wiki page/blog post/source code about how this works?

It's my guess that it is possible to toggle this from software, since that's how the 1.0.2.5 update managed to lock it. I'm wondering what kind of script is required to undo the fastboot lockdown (or perhaps replace it with my own locking logic).

Can you (and a few others) post a compressed dd dump of just that partition (with checksums)? Also which partition (under /dev/disk/by-partlabel/) is it?

Sorry for the paranoia, but I was foolish and didn't take a full image backup when I first got my Jolla. Executing random blobs from the internet etc.
