Use the usual wap.voicestream.com as "APN name" in this connection. Please don't mix it with APN in fMMS - that is different items.
I tried your setting (port 8080 and 9201)and get:
Sending falied:
Error: 101 Network is unreachable
Please make sure APN setting are correct

do you have a public bug list?
files in .fmms/{push,mms} are owned by root... why?

some sugestion:
fmmsd (the mms daemon) only store the sms-push and send a alert of new mms ( i DO NOT want the fmmsd stop my internet connection to download a mms...it can be delayed... and in some country download a mms have a cost )

if i click on new mms alert => open the fmm_gui, conect to mms apn, download the mms, disconect from mms apn and show it

fmms_gui: intergrate to modest, show incoming mms { new, unread, not downloaded, read }, draft mms and send mms

fmms_send_gui: integrate to modest, add a option to choose a subject, make optional the resize, option for more of one file, multiples pages, etc

global: support mp3, avi, txt, etc..., autodetect my cell number, integrate fapn in fmms configuration, option to "share" to mms

and... very, very thanks for make the n900 support mms!!!

The best method I found was to put your sim into another phone, and collect all the settings.

It will ask for all sorts of thing: go through the connections wizard: it will ask carrier name, username and password (they are identical on all devices, try a search - though the ones I found for Orange were wrong). Then under 'advanced' click 'use proxy' - and enter the proxy and port numbers. You will be able to find them all by putting your card in an old phone.

Here is the link for various countries mmsc settings:

http://www.activexperts.com/xmstoolkit/mmsclist/

Table is missing proxy port number but try default 80 or 8080 or check from an other phone settings when your sim card is inserted

I think they call it flexpaid account (still normal plan, just prepaid)
I just want to make sure it clears, no spam intention

Hi

I've installed the latest version from extras devel (0.4.4-1) and have it working fine sending and receiving pictures with T-Mobile UK. The only issue i've noticed is the text portion of the mms is discarded with the following message in its place:

Text fMMSpart620 was deleted due to: no legal rules found for this media (-1)

I know its in development and wondered is this usual behaviour in the current version?

Thanks

Hoggerz

P.S. for anyone who wants settings used for T-Mobile UK
I created a new Apn called: T-Mobile MMS (using fapn)
settings are :

Access point name: general.t-mobile.uk
User name: user
Password: pass

under advanced, select Use proxy and for HTTP Proxy enter:
149.254.201.135
Port: 8080

And for fmms settings I put

APN: T-Mobile MMS
MMSC: http://mmsc.t-mobile.co.uk:8002
Resize image width: 300
