Sell your two N900 for and N9, then sell an N9, and buy 3 N900 for price of fail N9.

Rinse and repeat.

N9 = Smartphone
N900 = Mobile PC

If this equation is even to you then Do It Right Now!!

2 * Mobile PC = Smartphone
(this is an impossible equation even for mathematicians)lol

Good luck getting enough money from your N900s to buy an N9, you might do it, but I paid just over £100 for the last N900 I bought, and I don't think you can get an N9 for £200.

I would like to get an N9 to play with, but I don't think it is worth giving up either of my fully working N900s for.

Agreed.
N9 = Smartphone. Its primarily a phone with smart capable features
N900 = Mobile PC. Its primarily a PC that is very portable and has telephony functionality.

Though, 2x N900 =/= N9, in terms of use case/features.

I would sell one N900 and accommodate it with an Android tablet, anything that has development, is remotely fast and roughly 5" in size....you can tether the N900 to it easily.

But if you think an N9 suits you more than the N900, consider the competitors:
iPhone 4+, SGS2, Gnex, NOTE etc.

Keep an N900.
I'm getting one back tomorrow.
Need to "fix" a WEP connection. No devices can do what the N900 can.

I plan of adding it to my bag as a permanent fixture. It's going to be used as a phone. Just as a rocking tablet.
