OK, then... no phones for all and now no aliendalvik support for Jolla 1 phones... i dont understand.

It's not that they don't want but that they can't.
The kernel is supplied together with the chipset and tied closely to the hardware by Qualcomm. Qualcomm would have to upgrade certain drivers and they see no profit in that.
Android phones, and on kernel-level, the Jolla is also one, are usually stuck with the kernel version they came with. There's not much Jolla can do about this...

It installs on Jolla Tablet, but it hangs when I run it. Not really sure why. Maybe wait until it goes live in Europe and install through Google Play store.

try to enable alien dalvik logs (see first post update 1)

I tried that (mkdir /opt/alien/logs) but it doesn't create any logs. Not even after restarting the device. The icon for it also isn't showing up, so the only way to run it by reinstalling and pressing 'Open' after it's done. Not looking too great...

Probably alien dalvik is located somewhere else in the jolla tablet
