Pretty cool that fx has got so many media outlet to check out the device. It may help it go main stream.

One thing I would say was a surprise was that the screen part was thinker than I thought. I figure it would be more like the n900 or n950, were as the screen part is more like 1/3 of the thickness. It's not a huge deal, but curious as to why this is. maybe the sensors and curved screen need a little more space.

AKA MSM8998. Indeed, not bad at all. Definitely a big +1 over the Cosmo Communicator's dead-end MediaTek SoC.

I'm really impressed with how the device looks and what Chen has achieved so far. With basic SoC support already available in real Linux, now for the real question. How much are Fx Technology willing to help with mainlining their device? If this device can run real Linux, without libhybris adaptations, it would be the perfect target for Maemo Leste and I would buy it in an instant.

The software transitions when people handle the phone look very clunky and slow at times. Looks like they still have stuff to work on...
