Yes, I tried that too.
I think an approach like robthebolds idea might work, or, using rescure kernel to boot from, and mount the device on a linux box.
Anyways, I agree, probably not much interesting to gain, other than ... knowledge

Well you can access aegisfs data also in securemode if you know what you are doing, but as those are pid/process based, you usually need to have custom patched binary to extract the data. I did once a proof of concept binary patch that extracted the devicelock-code from protected aegisfs dir and it worked nicely.
