@mmarks, if you are using txt file, try to put a empty line before each card.
if you are using xml format, try to export several cards to see a sample, otherwise if you can send me a sample of you are trying, I will take a look. But it will be next week, I'm on holidays!

I have exported my HandySafe items to XML and am trying to format the file to import into Wallet. I looked at the format on the first page, but all my 'cards' seem to come over as fields on 1 card when I import.

Please could anyone explain exactly how to format my file to import?

thanks in advance,

Mike
Hi there,
I imported my HandySafe XML file in to KeePass 2 (http://www.keepass.info/), which is a fee cross-platform desktop password tool, and nowhereman enhanced the paid version of Wallet to be able to import KeePass 2 XML exports. So, in summary:

1. Export Handy Safe Database as XMLd
2. Download & Install Keepass 2.xx (free)
3. Import Handy Safe XML in to Keepass 2.xx
4. Export Keepass 2.xx XML as keepass.xml
5. Import keepass.xml in to paid version of Wallet

The only thing that you need to confirm is whether the Ovi Store version of Wallet has the enhancement.

Today I updated OVI version (1.7.1) with keypass import support. It will be available in a few days.

I want to propose some enhancements -
1. Option to remove/hide image display in the list.
2. View list according to the object type. I do not mean group but the type of the object. For eg, if I select website, then show only website type objects in the list.

Will it be possible to include these in the next version?

I could be included, but it will take some time, I'm working on meego version for N950 :-), and I don't have too much time

Hello,

New version available into OVI store, with
- speed up change password process
- new view mode on groups view, to see cards by type or groups.

Just in case someone wants to switch phones or wallet program (like me - I went for keepass) I wanted to share my python scripts that convert the exported file from wallet to CSV (and to a CSV format that can be imported by keepass "classic" v1.x).

Rename the files to *.py and have a look at the script header, some config has to be done (filename) and can be done (field selection, dividers, etc.)

I hope someone finds it useful.
