This project was a good attempt to position our N9s, but using google maps wasnt such a great idea. First page is so messed up already. the other 11 pages are still a good reflection of whre N9s are (except China). Lets hope that the next project is for Jolla phone owners and we can do it with better map tools. Perhaps, Sailfish brings its own geopositioning app that can be used to see all of the Jolla phones on the map. Let's wait and see

Well how silly of me...
I did not notice that there as more than one page... never used google maps that had pages

My placemarks were there after all, on the page 11.

Why not make a quick app for it?
We could upload a area-specific geolocation (for example the nation the phone is in), and post to the wiki!

I offer to do it!
EDIT : I will start working on it right now :P
EDI2 : about posting, is wiki the best place? You obviously need an Id in order to post.
Another option could be the Nokia project pages..
EDIT3 : or better, one marker per nation, the count in the name of the marker. I was thinking to use Nokia maps for this..

Okay, so now after an afternoon of research it seems not so easy to to "push" locations from QT to Ovi Maps (through Maps API). Bah.

So options include:
- OSM
for example by relying on pushers like:
http://yapis.eu/?id=0&lang=en, even tho this might cause problems and get blocked in case of heavy load (spam),
also this forwards data to osm (which is not so bad I guess)
- usual server-side mysql db

Suggestions?

I'm late to the game. First got one that's 16 G to be given away. In the process of working with it, liked it so much I had to get another, 64G for myself.
