Hi guys!

I have searched both "maemo.org" and the web for an answer but I cant find anything.

I know that the applicationicons are placed in "/usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/icons/". I try to replace the default Facebook-icon with a nicer one with Filebox but I get "You donīt have permission".

How can I make this happen? Is there any way to do it via Terminal? And if so... how, exactly?

Wanna change the between these...

in terminal:

Code:
devel-su
{enter your password}
cp -R /path/to/your/new/icon/ /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/icons/
Ensure your new-icon is named the same way the old one is in the destination...Also the cp command above is all in one line...

Did you try with Filebox Root from Tweak H? Filebox Root always works with permissions..

Where do I find that?

I tried with terminal but I canīt get it to work...

This is what I write:

devel-su
(password)

cp -R /home/user/MyDocs/Icon-l-facebook.png/ /usr/share/themes/blanco/meegotouch/Icons/

Get message that it canīt create path or something...

N9QTweak: Tweak H --> 2
Then open Filebox Root from your homescreen which you just added from the tweak.. Type the pass of devel-su and replace the icons in the destination that you want and choose overwrite.
Oh and don't forget to do a full refresh if the new icon didn't appear after this process..

Its icons not Icons in the last command...Hence how would it copy to a non-existent path?

It's in /opt/batterymeter or something along the lines of that. It has a few images it stores, main one would be a background image. That's what you will want to change. Apart from that, that's about all you can change. Take a look in /opt/.
