True, That one is coloring blue when connected. But after install of this tool I had a second bluetooth icon there.

I reacted to another message of someone sugesting that it might be a conflict with the application bluetooth zwitch. and I have not installed this app.

Relax. 2 icons are there just because removing standard bluetooth isn't in the package installing yet. This plugin should replace standard Nokia's Bluetooth plugin.

I need logs of installations to figure out, what went wrong. There should be no conflicts with other apps.

For debug, please post here output of running
Code:
python /usr/lib/hildon-desktop/advanced-interface-switcher.py 1

You can use Powatool to edit what appears in the status menu.

From users' PoV: I turn BT on/off much more frequently then change settings, which are also available in Control Panel. E.g. Bluezwitch was made according to this logic, IMHO.
That's the main point of replacing the standard Bluetooth status menu plugin.

The icons used are based on them.

process 2605: arguments to dbus_connection_get_data() were incorrect, assertion "connection != NULL" failed in file dbus-connection.c line 5757.
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.

^^^ THIS.

Also, if you remove the bluetooth entry from status menu, it will ALSO eliminate the second bluetooth icon!
