If anyone is interested, here is the powertop binary extracted from RX-51_2009SE_1.2009.42-11_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin

Hopefully this will save some people from the tedious process of downloading a 140MB file, then extracting it, then using nandsim to mount the ubifs partion, all to get a 22kb file

Since powertop is under the GPL, I assume posting this is fine...
Attached Files
File Type: zip powertop.zip (10.7 KB, 948 views)

Thank you for posting the executable. I am able to copy it to my /usr/bin and run it as it were installed.

When I start the process, I get "status: Unknown job: pmtrackerdaemon". Is that common?

Me too, but i think you just ignore it.

See http://www.mail-archive.com/maemo-us.../msg14377.html

"it intefers with powertop, so powertop tries to remove it."
