Trying ADOM under dosbox. It's the most sophisticated roguelike I've ever played. It's fun!
... but the super tiny fonts strain my eyes.
Is there any way to increase the font size? If it is not possible to customize font size of dosbox directly, how about changing font size in the game or somewhere else?
Magnifying glass is out of question, of course.

There's an online ADOM server.

That's the best to go with since you can change your fonts in the Terminal window.

Would it be possible to set up a local server right on the N900 and then log in and play through terminal, so that I can play in this mode "offline?

PS Found another thread about ADOM-sage. Added to the 1st post.

I don't think so.

The actual program is written in Linux and is also closed source.

That would be really sweet if it could be done though.

I've got my own font for this if you want me to share it with you.

Thanks. But finally I get the x86 binary running on N900! Not joking.

I can roll up an archive if anyone is interested.

You might also contact the author and ask for him to build it under scratchbox or for a generic ARM (armv5?).

Maybe. But it is not likely to happen. The same request has been made for a few times over the past few years. The answer is still in silence.
The approach I'm adopting is the best in the meantime as there is no speed issue and no complicated configurations, including keymapping, are needed. It's just as playable and enjoyable as an armel build.

Please do.
Do you plan to add it in the repos?

I have no clue what an x86 binary means.

Is this something possible for an older N800 model?

I don't know if it is appropriate to make a package as the runtime files (binary + libraries) are from x86 system.
x86 binary is the one (adom-111-elf.tar.gz) you can download from the ADOM website. That's why many users are nagging for an armel build.
