In the beginning of a Brainstorm you have to Vote for the Brainstorm itself. In this Time you can Add more and more possible Solutions. After a while a Brainstrom migrate to the next state.

Then you can Vote for your prefered Solution.

Hi,

great idea, I just voted,

one question : why not to consider a third choice, swipe from the left, and the scroll bar appears in the right ?

This missing feature is very annoying for me especially on this website. I voted for the first solution, but I wish there was a more elegant solution...

Yes, this is correct. But it's very similar to the Solution #2. Should we really add a alternative solution or add the posibility to Solution #2 and let the people at Nokia decide?

Just Vote for the second Solution if you want a more elegant possibility!

I've got not a better Idea without adding more buttons somewhere to the device.

I was thinking the other day how we could turn the scrolling of a set length page into a race. I use both thumbs that run up the page.

I would like to suggest a solution that is proportional to the speed and length of the movement on the screen. Anyone used Opera on S60v5?

Solution #3 added by Peter Oliver.

This solution would only work on keyboards with seperate [up] and [down] keys. On the most european versions this is only with [shift]+[left] or [shift]+[right] possible to emulate [home] and [end] buttons.
It works only on some devices. Don't forget, we have different Keyboard Layouts. I added a Comment to this Solution.

S***!

There are just too many development ideas. --> It is almost impossible to get everything work perfectly, just the way I'd want it to work in the near future. >_<

Or I'm just starting to feel like it.

I like your ideas Helmuth, hope they pass through, although there are some other plans for swipe from right in other brainstorms. This is just basicly a better idea than changing arrow to last page/keeping swipe as it is.

I would like the scroll to be like the scroll we have i thumbnail view in the image viewer.
A little swipe and it scrolls slowly, and a bigger swipe and it scrolls faster.
Tapping the screen stops the scroll.

The thumbnail view is a perfect example of how it should be.
The way it is now it has no kinetic energy.
