It must be clear that donation is not sucked up by administration of some kind.
Therefore I voted "Maybe".
If it is clear that 90% of the money goes to development you can get a "Yes" from me.

You can rest assured that if such plan go to action, it will go strictly into development. There's still pretty much left to discuss beforehand.

However, due to the latest developments in MeeGo Apps & QTComponents, if things go in the right path, we should have ourselves any meego app working on our N900 with little to none effort.
Also, there is talk about putting N9 theme over hildon.

EDIT: Things that I would happily put my money in are a new calendar and a multi-language virtual keyboard.

I agree. I think it has to be agreed first what "development" means and what the fund is for.

Before anyone can go any further with further development then 2 very important things must happen.

1, Access to ALL source code for the N900 including everything closed source.

2, A named team of developers willing to take this on with the needed knowledge of how to write OS software specifically for the N900.

And in that order for sure because without this it will never happen it is as simple as that.

And it does not matter how much money has been raised, without the 2 above it can not happen.
