ok im sure this will of been asked before.

i have a couple of IM accounts setup on my n900 (gtalk and skype) but it seems that when im on a cell connection (90% time its 3/3.5g) the accounts constantly seem to sign in and out (gtalk is noticable more than skype) so im wonderignm if anyone knows how to make the 900 keep the connections active - dont mind a reduction in battery life to do it either,

the reason it is cutting out is its obviously loosing reception to 3g use the 3g switcher and leave it on 2g over night.

or better yet turn wifi on... but do you really need to be connected while you sleep? just turn it off untill you wake up

i turn phone off when i sleep but that doesnt help much when im out and dont have wifi connection does it
