It's more like your screen turns but the desktop stays in place... half of it isn't viewable.

But guess what, this morning i was just checking MaemoFrance.fr since i'm french

look at the screenshots, isn't it awesome ???
seems like portrait mode on n900 is getting more & more optimized with the updates
later on he says that he got the bug when ending a phone call...
some guys in the comments says that the bug could be due to the fact he got catorise installed.
