Apologises if this has been asked before, I did search for the word "case" but it came back with hundreds of irrelevant results.

My n900 arrived today and I have yet to turn it on. I am awaiting arrival of my Vikuiti DQC-160 screen protector which will hopefully ensure my screen remains scratch free. What about the overall device though? How do I keep this as in tip top condition while using the device daily?

I need some kind of case... does anyone have suggestions? It must look nice, be comfortable and not block any of the ports. If the case is just to store the device in e.g. a good leather pouch, this is acceptable but ideally a suit of armour permanently attached to the device woud be best. A good example of a suit of armour is the Thrustmaster DSi case:

It protects the Nintendo DSi perfectly while being comfortable, looking cool and not blocking any function/port.

Some are listed at http://wiki.maemo.org/N900_Accessories.

Ok thanks, although I am not sure if I can get any of those cases in the UK. Not even the UK Nokia shop sells that leather pouch.

Did I order the wrong screen protector? I ordered the Vikuiti DQC-160 but the Vikuiti ARMR200 is better because it has an extra anti glare layer.

Depends on what you want. It seems that the DQC-160 has better image quality.

Well what would you go for? I thought the protectors were identical but the ARMRM200 has an added anti glare layer?. I was thinking using the device outside in daylight may cause problems with reflection... I don't know...Are you use the image quality of the DQC-160 is better?

btw thanks der_stefan for the link, I will check it out.

I had a Vikuiti DQC-160, but I failed to apply it (and I don't have an N900 at the moment, but I'll get one again soon). Anyway, I read that without anti-glare the colors look better.

There is a link 'Thanks!' at the right bottom of each post, you might want to use it.

I use the BlackBerry 7100 Series Soft Sided Holster - Black

You can get these from most phone shops, and they're so common/inexpensive that asking for a "replacement" (for the one you, ahem, lost) might cost nothing at all...

It fits the N900 perfectly, holds it securely, and is discreet enough to wear on your belt at the spine.

I'm thinking about selecting the Nokia CP-321 as there isn't much appeal out there for me but this is very basic. I prefer to get a case specifically designed for the n900 digitante, even if the Blackberry case fitted perfectly. But even if I did want to get the case you recommended, I cannot find it in the UK online websites.

What about the Invisible Shield? It sounds amazing to me. Is it too good to be true? It does what I need, it's full body and you can't even see it!

No need for a screen protector either...
