Guys, it's been two days now, that my headphones are not working! First they are not detected, after I move them a bit, they'll be detected. When someone calls me, at first things will go fine, I have their voice, they have mine, but after a little, they will not be able to hear my voice, unless I move it a bit...

And, also, where the headphones get connected to the phone, there are three rings, I mean, those black lines... Sorry, I can't explain well... The gadgets with two lines can be connected, I mean things which are only for input or output...

Please help me guys! Please!!!

you need to try another headset to figure out if it's the headset or the n900 that is BROKEN.

OMG... I found out... But to be honest, I ain't got the guts to open it up, I'm sure I'll screw things up... Any help would be appreciated! Please!!!!

I also tried cleaning inside, with alchohol...

Still, the ones that are only for input sound, or output sound work, but the headphones which are designed for both, don't.

Please help me guys!

you tried another headset? or the same headset on another phone?

is the socket loose in anyway? or is there a possibility you installed something?
