Ok, I remember I had a 'whale' of a time installing this, you are not alone, don't give up.

the live cd is not working,, i did what it sayed but ubuntu just cant start,, is there another solution???

What's happening when you try to boot the live cd?
Does it boot at all? Could be a faulty burn/disk image or maybe you need to change the boot sequence on your PC to boot from CD drive first?

i burned it in a usb flash, it does boot, and the ubuntu image appears too, but after it lunches something like a command prompt
