In case you were wondering why no update for so long...
Cepi's build is really good, I examined the code ups and downs.
Fixed a few really small issues, but overall it's great.
Some UI freezing might occur if you have a huge number of contacts, we'll see what can be done about that, those profile pics need to generate faster.
About sending media like images, audio or video:
I have the UI ready. Backend needs to be written in Python. However my knowledge of Python is as small as my experience in XMPP.
Any help to get this done quickly is vastly appreciated.

I seem to have a problem,i cant install cepi's version,ive done the steps that is required,but when i open up wazzap,its still 0.26,any idea?

i'm sorry but, i'm just a normal user and i have a question that could be stupid for most of you but why there are more than one team that is developping the same sw?
It could be better if you start to work together i think.
i hope that noone will consider this post like a provocation.

AFAIK there are no several teams.
Even with open source policy and source files on Github, code was touched by Tarek, Cepi and me only.
That is the team, if you wanna call it as such.
I built this UI part based on Cepi's last build.
Cepi build his last deb package after improving Tarek's original code.
So... Developing as usual...
The UI displayed above is not yet functional.
Working on it. It's just looks now, doesn't send files...
