Transparency is supported now!!! Please try new version. You can get Yellow Notes v0.5 for Fremantle from Garage, still working on posting it into extras:

Still need to work on some usability and finger-friendly features. As always, feedback is appreciated.

There was a bug in 0.5 and previous Fremantle versions causing some black bars/lines to appear in adjacent widgets. This issue is now fixed in version 0.5.2. You can get it from the Garage:

Problem selecting custom colors from palette is solved in new version, 0.5.3

You can get it from Garage:

Also, package is in extras testing. If you think Yellow Notes deserves to go into Extras repository, I'd thank your vote:

is this the right thread to post bugs about the widget? i hope so. at least mr. nava is the author of it.

take a look at the attachment. sometimes the text gets cut off.
when you switch to another note and back to the current one, it gets fixed though. i still havent found out what causes this...

Hello,

Firstly, a very useful little app. One modification I would like to see would be password protected post-it notes which would only display the text after password entry. I do not know how easy this is to program but was useful for those stickies with memory joggers I wanted to have handy but for no-one else to see.

Possible?

BW
