Does anyone know where I can get a compiled version of gmyth?

I am unable to find the mysql client dev libraries and am unable to compile it myself.

Thanks

Hi,

I just uploaded, this week, gmyth and libmysqlclient deb files for armel and i386 suitable for scratchbox, 770 and N800. They are in gmyth sourceforge repository:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/gmyth

Take a look if these files are what you need.

Thanks, that gets me a bit further.

What I am after in the end, is the maemo-ui executable.

It does not appear to be in any of the binary packages available, and when I try to compile it from SVN, I get complaints that gmyth-0.1 is not installed. This is true, because I had installed it from SVN.

Have you had any success compiling maemo-ui from SVN?

Thanks,

Kevin

Hi Kevin,

sorry about maemo-ui. It is not updated in the svn since we decided to rewrite everything. Unfortunately we did not have a designer available to support us with nice icons, etc. We are working in another UI that would be available soon.

Anyway, in the gmyth-utils package there are two sample applications gmyth-cat and gmyth-ls. They could be used to access the mythtv content quite easily.

Thanks for the update.

I will have a look at the other programs, and use them.

Any chance we'll see a 64 bit repository of the packages listed on http://gmyth.sourceforge.net/wiki/in.../GMythStreamer
some of the svn's on http://gmyth.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/GMS_Howto
return errors.

For the svn's that return errors, try using gmyth.svn.sourceforge.net instead of just svn.sourceforge.net. I'm not sure that's correct, since I still haven't been able to get my whole setup working, but those urls do at least exist.
