I faced the same problem & wrote a mail to the developer. I got this solution from the developer :
Solution 1. Please try this link
http://repository.maemo.org/extras/p....1-1_armel.deb
Solution 2. Please download it from App Manager > Graphics
Hope it works as it is a wonderful software & very useful as a mobile scanner.

Thank you so much, but cant find it under graphic!!!!
also, when install the ..... .deb, the icon appears blue without any pic. is this normal?
