All done restart, the whole battery, n900 rebooted itself, and again everything is the same, with released rd mode all without mutations both back to the rd, and what to do?
So now "mp-fremantle-generic-pr" is installed, and the problem still persists...
What about flashing, or cold flashing (if the bootloader is damaged)?

I wouldn't know why flasher would not work... I hope these pages help.

Forget cold flashing (your boot loader is fine).

If your N900 boots fine with R&D mode but not when R&D is disabled, it means some startup service is dying when it shouldn't be dying.

The best option would be to reflash. You (apparently) tried it already and it didn't work. Try again, following the instructions in the Wiki *to* *the* *letter* and post here *exactly* the output you get when running the flasher tool.
