I found a fix for one of the major bugs in the last Opera build.
No doubt you've had pages that wouldn't even start to load, just got stuck at the first hurdle.
Enter "opera:config" at the address bar.
Find Spdy Ping Timeout. Change 30 to 45.
This eliminates 80+% of the problem.

Opera Software have moved on. There was never a 13.x or 14.x build. After 12.16, they abandoned the nice compact Presto engine and started using Chrome's Blink engine. It has some nice features and is superfast with FB, Gmail etc but missing many standard features and would be too bloated to run on our beloved N900s.
Anyone still have a copy of beta 15 ie opera-mobile_12.1beta1-15~fremantle0_armel.deb ?

I'd recommend against it. While some folks have had more luck, mine kept crashing so I reverted to 11.5.
