Hey guys, having a bit of an issue with my n900, in the USA on the AT&T network. Whenever I try to send a text message, it tells me it failed. I set the sms service number to "+13123149810" which is the same service number that my iPhone uses, and works with.

But it STILL won't send any texts -- any ideas guys?

Also, I can receive texts just fine, but can't send them....

Does it explicitly fail to send, or does the sending icon go away but then shortly thereafter you get a yellow banner with something like "Failed to send to [contactName]"?

The latter might turn up if whoever you're texting has their phone off or out of service at the time, but the message should be queued at the service centre and you'll get a subsequent "delivered" yellow banner when the message eventually gets through.
