I am trying to get nokia to include notifications in the status menu.
For me, it seems so counter-intuitive to click on the notifications and find nothing about that notification. Since we need to swipe first, the scroll to the feeds pane to view notifications!!

Every other OS i can think about has notifications in the status menu, including nokia's own Symbian belle

Need your support on this, please vote for this request 590

I have been following this for sometime now. Both Sides have valid points. Swiping To events view is too much work on one side, while on the other side, the logical place for the notifications is the events view.
I Don't think we can expect Nokia to rectify this. hopefully somebody else might make a quick hack for this

I honestly see nothing wrong with duplicating notification on the status menu if that what it takes.

Other stuff like ongoing transfers and active phone call show up in the status menu, aren't these events!?
