WTF

I am impressed. I used this phone all day and the battery is only at 85%. Sony did damn good job with this device.

But I miss my N9. I am looking at it now >_>

Yeah, truly a great device.

Some guy asked me if he should get a NOTE 4 or a Z3. I asked him if he needs the best phone, if he will r00t, and use custom firmware (kernel, rom, oc, uv, root, keyboard, get rid of touch jizz, etc etc).

Basic answer was no.

So I told him to either get an iPhone 5 (small device), iPhone 6 (medium device), or iPhone 6+ (large).

And on the Android-side to get the Z3 Compact (medium), Sharp Crystal (cheap), Z3 (large).

Really couldn't recommend anything from RIM, N9, Jolla, Palm, Firefox etc etc. Even recommending NOKIA, I mean, Microsoft was a tough pill.

Yes it is...

I switched to a z3 compact from my n900 recently, and have not regretted much since. Better battery life, amazing speed, better apps (many FOSS via F-Droid).

It is indeed a recommended phone!

Only downside so far is that I have not found a working call recorder - might be a phone/driver issue

If you root it, there are call record Apps. Also xModules. And of course its available in custom roms.
