I think Jitendra might have put it just as a joke.Though I dont agree with him saying that this is the toughest language to learn.
BTW,Hindi cannot be read by Pakistanis as their script is different.

every language that is not your mother language is hard to learn.
but the grammer and pronounciation make it more difficult.
so i think hindi is very hard. but thats only my opinion.
