fMobi --> black screen
Facebrick --> error 101 no application_id
Kasvopus --> no shortcut,, nowhere to be found after installation

Purchased Fmobi for the N8 a long time ago. I find it quite unusual that it's working on my N900, and doesn't work at all for the N9. Ofcourse, I can't really recommend Fmobi since support from the developer doesn't exsist.

On that note, I find that touch.facebook.com is quite acceptable.

this Fecbook situation in Maemo is quite ridicoulous.
There's a bunch of clients, not one of them working properly:
Kasvopus
fMobi
Sociality
Facebrick

Did I forget one?
Btw. only Sociality and Facebrick are on the community repos, Facebrick being abandoned for a long time now.
Kasvopus is here: http://kasvopus.substanceofcode.com/
fMobi is here: http://jiikoo.com/fmobi/

As has been mentioned, it's mainly FB's fault for continuously changing their APIs and features (and becoming more restrictive/closed-off), so you keep up or your stuff will break.

Please post here if your Maemo/N900 FB client is fully operational and what your system configuration is!

after all these non working properly or not working at all clients, i have to say the closest thing to a somewhat good facebook browsing on N900 would be m.facebook.com on opera mobile and i tried touch.facebook.com on Macuco it seemed to be rendered better than on opera.. though both seem to need to be closed and restarted after some time of browsing, facebook seemed to be more responsive on Macuco.

The latest official mobile Java app seems to work quite ok with phoneME.
