What's wrong with Nokia!!?... Why don't they just make a new N900 (called for example N900i) with the next iteration of CPU: the 28nm dual Cortex-A9 ARM CPU.
Maemo applications are getting hungry for more power, and the current N900 CPU heats up even when I text chat on Skype!!

I will definitely upgrade to this new Nokia.
Can anyone out there send this message to Nokia?

N9 won't be launched until 2011. So we need something before that date.

You do realise 2011 is only 2 months away don't you?

How long do you thing the R+D of a product like this takes?

I doubt it's as simple as popping the old cpu out and plugging the new one in.

I hope N9 with Meego will be available in 2 month. But you and I know that it will take at least a year for a mature product to arrive (N9 Meego). A year is too long in the mobile business.

Even if launched remember how achingly long we waited to get the n900?
.
Count on actually having a usable device in your hands sometime later in 2011,
unless you live right outside the factory gates.
That would put that moment about a year from now.
And that is only the moment you would begin the learning curve.

Even then it will be some time before it is really stable.
Until then, what you have in your pockets now is all there is.

no more new n900s here, only used ones available in this town.

Take care with your usb port and be nice to it.

cheers.
