I was wondering how phones like the LG VX9800 and the Sidekick compare to devices such as the 770, is there that big of a difference in the mobile cell phone internet? Pro's? Cons?

the 770 is not a phone. "only" WIFI. and bluetooth to a phone.

The 770 is much more useful because it can be the display to virtually any program running on any computer anywhere on the Internet (or local net) as long as that other computer is running an X client application. Matter of fact, everybody who opens a window on any given X client application will be working in concert, collaboratively. And any of these apps will be touchscreen apps automatically. This is very, very big.
