Maybe its a noob question but I just want to know will it be ever possible to run n-gage games? I mean can someone develop an emulator or an app so that we can play N-gage games?

I'm not gonna lie. That would actually be pretty cool. With worms and reset generation and several others. good times even online.

It's much more likely than to have android or iphone compatibility. It's technically possible, no problem with hardware horsepower, nokia owns all the licenses, and there's decent financial incentive to do so.

well I'm not talking about official support but since Nokia killed n-gage it might be interesting to see that someone can implement an emulator...I remember when I updated my N95 8gb firmware to get new N-gage it always installed tons of weird things such as Symbian pipes and pips..something like that C++ library etc

I would love this, I've just got wine (see other threads) working so I could try and play pandemonium which I purchased for n-gage. I fear however that the n-gage app and it's interface to Symbian, would be VERY hard to run on a stock linux/X11 platform like maemo.

That's what we're talking about. However other than a matching CPU architecture, the runtime environment of symbian vs linux makes this a mammoth task. It would be significantly easier to run the android runtime on top of maemo WebOS style, for example.

I miss several of the games i used to play on my N73, it would indeed be nice to be able to run native Symbian progs on the N900
