Probably you can wire any Nokia battery. Only exact fit is problematic but you can take a other battery and wire the poles. All batteries are li-ion thus 3,7v anyway.

Battery free space seems to fit BP-6EW - Lumia 900 battery (connector on the right side, longitudinal shape).

Connector is not the same cause battery connector have 3 pins and on device there are only 2.
So?

So?
Maybe temperature sensor and/or BSI is not in place on that particular proto. Thus only + and - without any protection, but I kind of doubt that... Unless they used it only on a powersource with build-in protection anyway.
