gnumeric and abiword for quick edits and openoffice for more precise work.

Is Gnumeric fairly safe?

I'm not anywhere near a developer, has there been any issues with it as its still in devel?

I believe that neither gnumeric or Abiword have been optified yet. That is why I haven't installed them.

I don't know if they have been but you can search the forums for the post about it

I know MohammedAG optified it.

I know there is OO, but its not finger-friendly, and tiny view.
