Hi,
I want to have internet on my n900 using my XP desktop computer (connection sharing).
I used Maemo-PC-Connectivity and connection-switcher and it worked perfectly, but since pr1.2 it doesn't work since Maemo-PC-Connectivity doesn't save my settings. So I used MAD-Developer on my n900 as in this post http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p=764488&postcount=3.
I succeded to create a new local area connection but I don't think the n900 knows it is for internet, though I'm able to ping to 192.168.2.15/4 but not to www.google.com (it says "bad address").
I think there are members that know how to share the internet connection between the pc and the n900 and I will be glad if you can help. thanks!

on mypc i can ping to www.google.com
on n900 i can't ping to 216.239.51.99 i get "network is unreachable", 192.168.2.15 works but the little two computers icon stays dark blue.
when i ping to 192.168.2.14 one of the little to computers changes to light blue and i get this message that there is a collision with another IP address
