Seemingly dumb question, but where did you the download the Firefox plugin for Windows/Linux? I can't find the link.

I think I got it from http://maps.ovi.com/. Its a plugin they had before to enable advanced features.

Can't find anyway to download it to test out a modification. Any one have a link to the installer.

Tried page on:
Firefox 3.6.13 - Ubuntu
Firefox 4b8 - Wine
Firefox 3.6.13 - Ubuntu
Firefox 3.6.13 - Vista

Not sure where it went, but i can probably upload my copy. (uploaded here due to size: https://sites.google.com/site/blaizz...edirects=0&d=1)
I found it at C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\{profile}\extensions\maps@ovi.com on windows 7.



EDIT: I also emailed the ovi team to ask why the plugin was removed. The plugin is used to show 3D landmarks.

Not yet. I haven't yet figured out the searching method. I'll give it a try soon

really hope to see Voice navigation guide real soon. I have not using much JS lately but if we can contribute every bit to the N900 then we can make our N900 lives longer and stronger.

what about creating deb package for it?

(dpkg-divert in preinst and postrm scripts can divert installed files, so no errors about overwritng existing files)
