First I'd like to say thanks, this has been a great resource for my new 770.
I had a bit of trouble while registering due to the CAPTCHA. There were grey letters on grey backgrounds, one had two letters directly above/below each other, making them both illegible. The letter G was indistinguishable from C, L and 1, O and 0. I'm partially color blind, I failed it numerous times.

I would agree with this, the CAPTCHA image verification is frustrating. The other day, I was unable to even perform a search of the forum numerous times because the word image was illegible.

Then, I realised I don't need to go through the CAPTCHA verification at all to do a search if I'm logged in

Yeah, before I signed up and kept logged in I failed about 2/3 of the captchas. I'm sure I typed in what I saw

I'll second all the comments in this thread - unless you are logged in its difficult to get more than 2/5 correct captchas!

Log into the forum then you won't need to use the captchas...

I changed the CAPTCHA setting to make it easier to read. Thanks.

I just figured half the chaptchas were being used to get spam logins for other sites

Unimpeded searches, the reason I registered.
