look..i got the nokia 770 for free...the answer is probably very simple but how in the **** do you put pictures and music from the pc to the phone....somebody please help me

-connect your 770 to your pc with the bundled cable (or through bluetooth or place your memory card in your pc's memorycard slot
-chose the files on your pc, right click and chose "copy"
-go to your 700's directory, chose the folder you want to put the files in then right click and chose "paste".

thats what i thought...but the only folder that pops up is a "local h" drive and the only folder in that is a ".archive" folder which has nothing in it

Two things you should know:
  • The Nokia 770, N800, and N810 Internet Tablets are not phones.
  • Nobody care's whether you're black.

As for your question, El Amir hit it.

No, it worked just fine, from what you've described.

You have an empty SD card, so it shows up empty.
You wanted to put files on, so put them on -- there's lots of room.

When you disconnect from the computer (with unplug/eject hardware first, or whatever unmounting method is appropriate for your OS), the 770 will take over the card again, and you'll be able to see the files.

You could just copy files to an SD card and put it in the Nokia. That's my usual method.

no actually it didnt work...how the **** you gonna tell me and i tried the **** 5 times Benson...**** outta here!!
