Hy folks,

Is there an option to include a image for a radio stream in the mediaplayer like a Image for a music album ?

i start from command line the stream with:
/usr/bin/dbus-send --print-reply --dest=com.nokia.mediaplayer /com/nokia/mediaplayer com.nokia.mediaplayer.mime_open string:"<stream adress>"

The standard image /usr/share/icons/hicolor/295x295/hildon/mediaplayer_default_stream.png is not very nice - i will replace it with my own, on start - maybe as option for the dbus-send

is there something?

thx for your help

If you're talking about inside the iradio picker list, the answer is sadly no. The mafw iradio Source plugin is open source and it supports an Icon tag, but Nokia's mediaplayer iradio picker is throwing it on the floor.

As far as the image that you see when you're playing a stream (rendering), that path seems to be hard coded:

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/295x295/hildon/mediaplayer_default_stream.png

EDIT: Woops, I see you saw that.

Everything but mediaplayer's UI code is open source, so if someone wanted to reproduce it they could. There's an open source test gui for the plugins. It's beyond ugly:

but it could be reworked.

And by UI, that includes mediaplayer.launch's dbus calls.
