Hi

The Calendar application has started to eat almost the 100% of cpu since I synced with my work exchange server.

If I delete the calendar.db in $HOME/.calendar/ and reboot calendar process behaves normally, bus once I sync again, it starts eating cpu cycles.

I'm running PR1.3 has someone seen something like this?

Best regards

Carlos

Did you try to do a full resynchronization?

It fixed several other problems for me.

high cpu/battery usage by the calendar was a known problem (something to do with a broken calendar database, happened once in a while) with an easy fix.

see here for a fix

Open an x terminal
cd .calendar
mv calendardb calendardb.keep
then reboot the phone (press and hold the power button)
This WILL wipe all your calendar info.
this worked fine for me.

but since 1.3 the fix doesn't work anymore: whenever the calendar syncs, it corrupts my database again, the cpu goes wild and the battery dies after a few hours. i tried syncing with gmail directly and via nuevasync - same result.

anyone any idea what to do?
