the picture pushes the text bubble down a line, thats why i put the picture inside the bubble.

why am i getting the error " omitting MyDocs/iphone" when i want to customize my conversation style into iphone conversation style..my edited customization is downloaded from here...and its store in MyDocs/iphone folder.... and here is my command.

cp MyDocs/iphone/(space)*/usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/html/

and i get the error

"omitting MyDocs/iphone"
????????????????why????????????

What you need to do,

Is open up and edit each of the .css files within my conversation theme.

There are 3 .css files.

Code:

MessagingWidgetsSMSConversation.css
MessagingWidgetsChatConversation.css
MessagingWidgetsSingleSMS.css

Then alter the "body" section so that it looks like this

Code:

body {
  margin-left: 8px;
  margin-right: 8px;

 background-image: url(Image.jpg);
 background-attachment: fixed;
background-color:black;
 background-repeat: repeat;

}

Well Nokia do at least know how to build a decent phone, just apparently don't know how to support it..

explanation:

it's kind of complicated, but like they say, there is no easy path to heaven.

EDIT.: now there is a variant for IM too, the steps are the same, but bubbles images in IM variant goes inside the IM folder, this way you can have 2 different schemes for the 2 different conversations

first choose a BG, there is light and black background, if you want another just edit the body background-color in the css file

second, choose a layout, there are 8 differents
- both sides (left for self, right for other)
- both side with small gap
- both side with avatars
- both side with avatars and small gap
- left side (both messages are on left side)
- left side with small ga
- left side with avatars
- left side with avatars and small gap
now you got 3 files (html, css, and js) (plus an IM folder if you are going to customize chat) copy them into the /usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/html

third, choose from the Bubbles folder a color for your bubble (from self folder) and a color for the other bubble (others folder)

finaly, copy the png images you choose into the right folder
for SMS conversation

and thats it, you have a custom iphone-like conversation

this is a GREAT theme, but is very clunky and slow, due to images is my guess.. any way to fix this? or is it just me? thanks

Im having a similar issue, when I send a text with this theme it doesnt scroll down automatically, is there an easy way to fix this?
