Hi

I'm trying to get Huawei e160e to work on maemo and n800. I have n800 with host mode and powered usb hub. After many hours of trying, I haven't got it working. Looks like n800 is not recognising it when huawei does some kind of reconnect after 30sec of connecting it to usb hub. Here's what I did:

n800 to host mode:
echo host > /sys/devices/platform/musb_hdrc/mode

disable usb suspend because huawei was not recognised in any way when it was enabled. -1 did not work so i put 900:
echo 900 > /sys/module/usbcore/parameters/autosuspend

insmod usbserial.ko and option.ko

then i connect usb hub to n800
Code:
[ 1569.226562] usb 1-1: new full speed USB device using musb_hdrc and address 5

huawei just disappears.

I tried to use usb_modeswitch but it didn't change anything.

Here's how it is working on desktop computer:

just to eliminate this option do other things work through your usb hub? like a flash drive or something?

hello liu2585

Just do as I did at first post. In addition to that I did compile kernel modules like here http://maemo.org/maemo_release_docum....x/node12.html

When kernel finds the modem it appears as /dev/ttyUSB0. You need to configure ppp to connect with modem. For example like here https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php...ith_pppd_alone
