From the Lest Pinephone wiki page:

What you can do with the 20220206 image:

Run any applications in Debian and Devuan on your phone
Connect to wifi
Use the terminal
Connect to 2G/3G/4G data connections
Make and receive phone calls and SMS
PinePhone keyboard is supported

TODO mention/link to:

USB peripheral support
Camera UI
Bluetooth UI
I thought this was some time away, very interesting!

Just tried the July 31st image on the sd card and got only red led glowing forever. So maybe current images are just broken?
Edit: Posted too fast After switching off and starting again it booted to desktop

How well is the phone and SMS service working now?
I love the idea of deuvian and getting to use recompiled old Maemo apps again.
Is the Pine Keyboard driver in the latest builds? I want my super-N900.

The current GUI does not represent in any way, that calling and sms service is available.

Ok..I could tested my self and I can confirm that jul 31th version boot with 3GB RAM model and also with keyboard (keyboard didn't work in stock OS). One version before didn't work at all.

And I understand your post about that red light..because even with second boot it lit quite long, before boot.

It doesn't ask SIM-card pin, so cannot use mobile data at all.

I noticed so far:
If you try set clock in Clock-app it crash saying "internal error".

Calculator doesn't work..cannot write numbers.

User Guide-app loading short time and shut it down.

But Terminal works! And expanding partition script was nice.
EDIT: how to write with Pinephone keyboard "-"? FN+7+shift gives "_" and FN+9+shift gives "_".

Is there anyway to debug why it doesn't ask SIM-card pin?

Is there anyway to use Docking Bar Ethernet-port?
