I am trying to install libqt4-webkit in the terminal, and type apt-get install libqt4-webkit. Everything seems to work fine untill I get the following message:

"Need to get 5724kB of archives.
After this operation, 18,2MB of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]?"

I have tried "y", I have tried "Y" and I have tried "n". No matter what I type I only get: "Aborted"

Can anyone please help me?

Regards,

Strutten

When not choosing anything, but just tyåing enter, it worked... So I'm all happy now, but can someone tell me why it works like this?

Now that it works (see my edited post above) I can't get to where it went wrong, and therefor I can't, unfortunately, paste the exact output. But my quotation was exact as for the end of the output.

Are you using a non-english language setting? If so, you need to use the appropriate start letter for "Yes" in your language (no matter what the prompt says).

I had no idea! Thank you! But why have they done it like this? It sounds idiotic in my ears...

What is libqt ? I think i tried to install some programs that said there was some missing packages (didn't memory exactly which ones, but i think it might be related to libqt)
But those packages were not in the repositories.
Is there another way to install those packages ?

libqt are the Qt libraries - Qt is a cross-platform API, allowing the same code to be compiled for Maemo, Windows, OS X, Symbian, etc.

PR1.2 is introducing a new version (4.6), so there's currently a number of packages in extras-devel which require the new version - that's probably the issue you're seeing.

You can't. Libqt4 4.6.2 comes with the next firmware release
