Garage does also git, it's not only svn. And upgrading the servers for garage is also on the todo-list before new year. That should improve Garage performance a lot.

And as abbra points out, gitorious.org is also open to anyone.

Ah, somehow I managed to miss that tiny detail :-) Excuse my ignorance.

This is huge. Not only is it development done in the bazaar, but it is a refutation of the "Not Invented Here" syndrome.

Kudos to maemo and Nokia.

I'll be glad development really is "properly" in the open. There's a problem with the wpeditor component in Diablo, and although open source, there was several months or a year between releases, and it was hard to work out where one particular bug appeared. Being able to see each commit would be very helpful for this kind of situation.

What are the Fremantle OSS components you want to see sooner moving to open development and why? This will help setting priorities and pushing busy teams to maemo.gitorious.org.

I'd like to get an overview about the current status of Maemo Browser. There are a disturbingly large number of nokia-binaries in Nokia binaries for tablet-browser.

The 12th open development project has been just moved to http://maemo.gitorious.org - the Calendar Framework.

There are more in the pipeline, coming.
